Pros: Comfort, Good Quality, Great Value
"I bought the GT-2130 at a local Sporting Goods store about 8 months ago after trying on many pairs of shoes. They certainly were a drastic upgrade over what I was using. I used them in the gym on the treadmill and lifting weights over the course of the winter. This spring I needed some outdoor running shoes to replace a pair that had worn out. I used my GT-2130's that I bought 8 months ago for the gym as replacement outdoor running shoes and now use the new GT-2130's that I purchased from Finish Line (for about 60% of the price that I paid at the sporting goods store) for my new treadmill running shoes.
Both pair continue to hold up well. I am more of a sprinter than an endurance runner as I run about 3 miles per day, 4 days a week (alternating intervals between 5 mph and 11 mph) on the treadmill and I run about 4 miles per day, 2 days a week (averaging about 7 mph) outdoors.
These shoes really fit what I need at a fair price. I was very happy with my purchase.
I needed the wide shoe version as I have a problem with one of my big toes that requires extra space. Unlike other comments, I found the sizing to match up with other shoe brands I have worn (9.5), although, if I was going to play it safe, going 1/2 size larger wouldn't have been bad either."
